For example, when a subscriber is in an area, familiar or not, the Shepherd Shield alert system provides a real-time threat assessment based on four warning levels: green, yellow, orange and red, the highest.

Shepherd Shield alerts are issued when a subscriber comes in close proximity of a threat area, as determined by information obtained from law enforcement, emergency services, news reports and predetermined threat areas. Subscribers are alerted to Shepherd Shield alerts with the sound of a barking guard dog.

“School campuses are a priority,” says Joe D’Amico, President of Security Services Northwest. “Shepherd Shield offers a level of communication and information that is currently not available.

“When seconds count, count on Shepherd Shield.”
